Recurrent Miscarriages:

A couple who has undergone two or more miscarriages face indescribable agony and a sense of desperation needing tender loving care and counselling.Over years of my practice, several such couples who have been under my care have been blessed with a baby.

It is important to understand that this journey starts with extensive investigations to determine a cause and follows with regular and intense monitoring and medication because it augurs well for the 9 months long journey of trust and compassion.

My multidisciplinary team of fetal medicine specialist, endocrinologist, dietician and paedetrician work together with the couple to make this journey smooth and fruitful.

Young Women Health

The young woman of today needs a non-judgemental, un biased menstrual and sexual health advice.

In the era of internet, they approach the doctor as the last resort.

I assure them full confidentiality, individualised advice and ample time in the OPD.

Menstrual Problems:

Every one in five women suffer from menstrual problems in their lifetime. from adolescence to postmenopausal.

In todays era of modern medicine, uterus removal is the last resort and only advised when medical management is unacceptable or ineffective.

I believe in women centric approach and the choice of the woman directs my plan of investigations and management. Whatever the line of treatment, I ensure transparency, interaction and sharing of complete information.

Menopausal Woes

To age gracefully and live independently is a choice. Menopause is an inevitable physical event which should be accepted and dealt with healthy life style modifications, regular exercise and annual health checkups. The menopausal symptoms of hot flushes, genitourinary irritation and discomfort as well as mental and bone health have to be addressed and treated. Every woman beyond 50, has a right to desire and demand a fulfilling, youthful life and I shall help them make the right decisions.
